How often should I use Coastal Bronze Tan?    

We recommend once a week to ensure you are a Bronzed Babe all year round! 

Can I sleep in my Coastal Bronze Tan?

Yes! If you are wanting a deep/darker result you can definitely sleep in our products.

Some people prefer to tan just before bed, however make sure the product is fully dried.

 How long does Coastal Bronze Tan take to develop?

You can leave our products on for 1-8hrs depending on how deep/dark you like your results, however recommended optimal development times are listed on all of our products.

How many applications are in a bottle of Coastal Bronze Tan?  

Coastal Bronze products have at least 6 applications per bottle (Mousse/Mist), however that totally depends on the personal amount you use per application as this will vary from person to person.

Can you use Coastal Bronze Tan on your face?

Of course! Our tan is perfectly safe for use on the face, but please be mindful skin on our face if different to skin on our bodies, so application amount and development times will vary, please see product for recommended application times.

Should I shave before tanning?

For best results of a flawless tan, shave at least 24hrs before applying Coastal Bronze tan.

How do I apply the perfect tan?

Failing to prepare means preparing to fail. The best tan isn’t going to happen if you’ve neglected to cleanse and exfoliate properly beforehand, so make sure to use our Exfoliating mitt to exfoliate dead skin away to remove any lingering traces of old tan, perfume, lotions, and deodorants, which can discolour your tan.

Applying a thin layer of moisturiser to knees, elbows and ankles is also advisable to stop pigment collecting too heavily in those areas.

Next apply one of our mousses to our luxe application mitt to help buff the formula into every area of the body.

The key is to be meticulous with covering every area but be sparing around the feet, ankles, knees and hands.

Do I moisturise after applying tan?   

Yes! Its so important to keep your skin hydrated to ensure the longevity of your tan. Try our Santa Monica gradual tan, it will extent and moisturise all at once. Your tan will look flawless as Santa Monica is enriched with hydrating Cocoa Butter to condition, nourish and moisturise your skin.

How to choose which tan to apply -

• Malibu – Dark Luxe                                                                                                                              Is a violet-base light weight mousse that develops into a dark Mediterranean inspired tan. It is ideal for babes with yellow skin under tones or those who simply want a deep dark exotic tan. 

• Miami – Luxe Ultra Dark                                                                               Is a violet-based lightweight mousse that develops into a deeper ultra-dark Mediterranean inspired tan. It is ideal for babes with yellow skin under tones or those who simply want a deeper dark ultra-dark exotic tan.

• Kokomo – Mousse                                                                                                  Is a lightweight dark mousse made with real coconut water that delivers a deep, dark tan with a healthy glow. Ideal for babes with dry skin, coconut water works as a natural toner, hydrating skin without leaving it feeling oily or tacky.

•  Santa Monica Mousse                                                                                 Is a self-tanner, extender and moisturiser in one. The lightweight mousse format is so easy to apply for a flawless, streak-free, natural-looking golden glow. Enriched with hydrating, Cocoa Butter to condition, nourish and moisturise skin.

Can I still get tanned from the sun while wearing Coastal Bronze products?

Yes, you can! It is really important to remember that our self-tanning products do not offer any SPF protection. So, make sure you still SLIP, SLOP, SLAP!

 Is Coastal Bronze products tested on animals?

Absolutely not! We will never support products that have been tested on animals.

 Do I have to be a certain age to use Coastal Bronze?

No! Coastal Bronze is suitable for all ages.

 Can I use Coastal Bronze while I’m pregnant?

The natural DHA in our products is a non-toxic chemical that reacts with the out layer of your skin to give you that gorgeous glow. It does not penetrate into deeper layers of your skin or enter the bloodstream, therefore it appears to be safe for you to use while pregnant.
